Research Triangle
Park/Durham Area
Orthodontic
Associateship Opportunity
Whether you are
currently in an Orthodontic Program and seeking a career in private practice in
the near future or already have experience as an Orthodontic Associate, we may
have a great opportunity for you.
We are a thriving GP
office with two full-time general dentists, two full-time hygienists, three
dental assistants and three business office.
Our office is located in the Research Triangle Park of Durham, NC
surrounded by hundreds of large corporations such as IBM, GSK, Lenovo, Nortel,
Ciscos, GE and smaller businesses that provide dental insurance for their
employees. We are providers to many of
the major insurance plans such as MetLife, Cigna, Delta Dental, BCBS, etc;
which may offer excellent dental and/or orthodontic benefits to their
subscribers.
Our office is
surrounded by many businesses as well as many apartment complexes and
single-family residential areas. Durham, which is where we are located, has a population of
over 262,000 and its nearby town of Morrisville
has over 12,000 people.
We are seeking a
part-time (with potential for full-time) Orthodontist as an adjunct to our
already busy general dental practice providing care for patients ranging from 5
to 99 years old. My goal is to have a
multi-specialty practice as a one-stop location for many of the services and
treatment that our patients need. I am currently an active Invisalign provider
and my staff who is well trained in internal marketing to our existing patients
and in educating the importance of
excellent oral and dental health as well as in cosmetic and elective procedures
such as implants, veneers, crowns and orthodontic treatment. Most of our
patients are “white-collar” workers in highly technical and professional
careers with high dental I.Qs. 95% of our patients have either PPO or DHMO
dental insurance with most having orthodontic benefits.
We are asking that this
associate position be as an independent contractor situation with compensation
based upon a % commission of collections.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and
grow, expanding not only their clinical abilities, but also gaining experience
in the administration and external and internal marketing of a thriving
practice. And of course, you must be
licensed by the North Carolina Dental Board.
